Lightweight 1x12" Speaker Cabinet Options:

The more sensitive the speaker is, the louder it gets with the same power going in.

A speaker that is 3 dB more sensitive than another is the same as running twice as much power through the same speaker.
To be fair 3dB is not a very large difference in output

Ok, now that clears it up some...and why i posted this question in particular.

You are aware the output difference between 20 amd 40 watt settings on the 40C. Not too huge but it is there. That woild be the difference between those 2 speakers. Just somethjng to be aware of. I have a V30 and a G12 - T75 in the same cab so same thing as you efficiency wise the V30 is louder but the 75 gives it a low punch so I feel they both work well together.

I'm new to this speaker mixing business.

Hmmmm....

So perhaps the Jensen Jet Neodymium 100W (97.3db) would be a better pairing with the Celestion 70/80 (80W) and its 98db, than the 100db of the Electro-Harmonix 12VR75???
