The Muse I Adorn

Yesterday I fired up the Caldera for the first time in a month. The honors went to Lexi. Named after my favorite kitty kat (R.I.P.). 2006 Hamer Artist Korina. Limba (Korina) body and neck. Chevron Limba top. Rosewood fretboard. Stock bridge pup is the SD Custom P90 (Very hot/Ceramic), and the stock SD Hot P90 neck pup was replaced with the SD Vintage P90. One of the lightest guitars I own at 7 lbs 7 oz.

Love that guitar. Makes me want a USA Hamer

Real USA-made NOS Hamers are out there. Not to mention a nice selection of used ones, too. Local guitar shop, Lightning Joe's Guitar Heaven, has about 4 or 5 of the NOS ones, but they are specifically extremely rare and one-offs. Prices are way the F up there on these rare beauties... 7K to 10K. But there a few other used ones, too.

Tomorrow I will use the 335 for rehearsal. It hasn't seen any action since a couple of Nov shows last year!
