Speaking of scary. Before I met my last girlfriend, she had a near death experience when her last husband shot her a bunch of times and then beat her over the head with the gun. After being medivac'd to shock trauma in Baltimore, she was given 130+ units of blood before they got all her bleeding stopped. This happened in 2001, and she lived, is missing her spleen and up until I saw dental xrays, I thought they got all the bullet fragments out. But nope, her facial xrays show a smattering of dark spots between her nose and ear. My guess is they were too close to her brain to remove.

Oh and then after he unloaded the 22 pistol's hollow points into her, he turned a 9mm on himself. He expired before the paramedics arrived to save her.

I'm offended that he was identified as the same species as us.

Good on you for not letting that get in the way of being with someone. Talk about having every right to hate males as a gender.... smh
 
Thanks for the concern. It was 4 years ago she is fine. The odd headache still granted.

It has worked well for us over tne years. Many delays jn testing etc. Lots. That's just a lack of funding. But overall, at least we didn't have to make sure we had insurance or pay the balance of that major surgery, scans, 3 weeks in hospital etc.

I will take it.

Steveb, I know and knew she had to have had a huge amount of emotional scarring, but believe it or not, she was a short woman of small stature except for her " attributes." She still had a good esteem, and other than short term memory loss, and occasional blonde roots scenarios, she recovered pretty darn well. I still remember having heart to heart talks with her mom before she died, and she always said she trusted me plus for me to "be the best male friend I could be to her daughter. That is what she needed most."

Needless to say, I was so glad to have spent time with her, we had laughs, cries, and some unusual experiences. One of my favorites was the time she was headed to town at about 80 MPH and passed a cop going the other way. He u turned it and pulled her over. Asked her why she was going so fast. She told him to blow the snow off her car.

Im shocked to what happened to your wife, that guy who shot her is waste of skin, organs , and oxygen!!!! Dose not even deserve to be buried or cremated Needs suffering for eternity.... i really hope your wife at some sort of peace and can move on with her life.

Sorry to hijack your thread, Ramos, but here is another freaky thing I experienced while with her. One night she asks me if I would like to watch/ hear her emergency 911 tape. She actually had a pro shot commemorative recording of an awards show the hospital held for her and a state trooper who was also severely injured that same night. They were telling her story as she was up on stage, then they played a tape recording of her 911 call.
The operator kept asking her what happened, if anyone else was in the house, etc etc, as she kept telling her she was shot, I could hear the blood filling up her lungs and also could hear her husband gasping for air and his raspy gurgling in the background.. THAT was freaky listening to a man dying like that.

It wasn't my wife, she is/was a lady friend. She is doing pretty well and is now a happy grandma of 4

Thank you for the compliment and nice words, however i dint consider myself good player i think im ok I dont even know the nots on fretboard only low E and High E haha

I posted some recent ones if interested have look in usual place.

About that 911 call it is eary to hear someone ding and been in shot.... that something I dont want to hear , heard it once when this guy fell from 9th floor and landed next to me while i was cycling when I was kid. I heard his body hit the ground and choking breathing ..... ive seen lot if bad stuff when i thats why im crazy now :)))))
 
Update


Just had my blood tests all good, also finished my brain scan im on safe side for stroke meaning i didnt have it.... but there is small little white bit on my right side of brain and they are not sure what it is for sure so they have too look more and possibly more scans. They call me on friday and tell me what it might be and if i need more scans.

So so far everything looks good , no stroke which is more important.

If i have more news ill update you as soon as i have them.


They hook me up like Morpheus from matrix with cable i was thinking Neo would shop up any min to wack me....

Then when i saw that MRI machine i was like transport me to future :) it had so pretty lights :) i know im childish..... also that machine had some serious Downpicking going on when i thought it could not get any better it went to blast beats :))))))

Also i was thinking random stupid stuff to see if they picked it up :))))
