Im scared

Hope you are back in action sooner than you want to be.
These things suck for sure, I have found over the last couple of years that if I am doing layout on wall plates at my feet, and straighten up, I see stars and get a little light headed, and with the heat and humidity we have been working in the last couple of weeks, I need to be careful.
Cheers to your health my brother..

Mitch

Best of luck with the tests. I hope it was very minor at the most, and did not cause any long term effects. You look way too young to be dealing with a stroke, but anything is possible these days.

i hope too brother, i get lots of headaches and readin internet it could be Hemiplegic migraine
What is hemiplegic migraine?
Hemiplegic migraine is referred to as a “migraine variant”. The word hemiplegic simply means paralysis on one side of the body. A person with hemiplegic migraine will experience a temporary weakness on one side of their body as part of their migraine attack. This can involve the face, arm or leg and be accompanied by numbness, or pins and needles. The person may experience speech difficulties, vision problems or confusion. This can be a frightening experience for the individual as these symptoms are similar to those of a stroke. This weakness may last from one hour to several days, but usually it goes within 24 hours. The head pain associated with migraine typically follows the weakness, but the headache may precede it or be absent.

Hope you are back in action sooner than you want to be.

shoot, man - I hope your ok - don't mess around. They treated my father in law like two months for ear aches - turned out he was having mini-strokes that of course led up to a big one - and all the time, like several trips to the doctors, they were treating him for ear aches - sad.

Hey bro two things I would like to impart to you.

1) If it is a stroke, the quicker you get the stroke buster drugs, the less of an impact it will have on you.

2) DO NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY, I would repeat that if it helps, I have made the mistake of thinking that I'll just tough it out. Sometimes we are too tough for our own good.

Take that aspirin, and if you want to p.m. me I might have a few more pearls for ya, just don't like to put my bidness out in the public.

Oh, and whatever you do DO NOT self diagnose with Google, it's too easy to make yourself crazy!

We got your back, and if I can be of any help let me know in a p.m.

im so sorry to hear that brother , how is he now ?

thank you my brothers for your concerns ,help and support,

Love you all!

I am very surprised that after what Ramo told the doctor initially, that the decision to wait a few days for scans and not immediately check into an emergency hospital visit is pure bullpoop. If I would have called my doctor or dialed 911 (USA Emergency Medical hotline) describing the same symptoms, I would have been advised to get my A$$ into an emergency room.

Me as well brotha.

I sent Ramo a p.m. that should enlighten him some, I hope!

The biggest thing with the stroke issue is TIME. I was administered stroke busting drugs within ten minutes of my arrival at the E.R.

There are other issues that cause these symptoms as well, and my life was spared due to great medical pro.s

When in doubt go to the hospital, and if you don't like what the DR. has said- done, get a second opinion, no second chances with these things. Hopefully the initial tests did not indicate worst case scenario.

I had stents placed and it was a simple, painless procedure, it was the heart attacks that I never noticed that was dicovered during testing and subsequent open heart surgery that was the kicker, without having a stroke I was doomed to an early demise. So in a way, my stroke saved my life!

Note to all my brotha's, get it checked out, our resilience makes our brains lie to us, to avoid the Dr.'s

Peace to you all, and Ramo, call me we NEED to talk soon!

Ya 2020, it's a :poo: storm of a year.

That was quite a few years ago - he has sense passed away.

Best of luck on this approach, my friend... :fingersx:. But I still strongly believe you should be examined as soon as possible... like right now!
I have to strongly agree with my bro sysco, there's nothing wrong with seconds opinions, my cardiologist insisted I get anothers pro.'s take on the surgery before he would perform it. He's the head of the department, but being so invasive he wanted me to explore ALL options.

Also remember, that aspirin is a wonder drug, it will stop a heart attack, immediately thins out your blood. Just always remeber to inform all health care workers you have taken it, don't want to bleed out on the table.

One more thing, we are all scared, you should be and there would be something wrong with you if you weren't. But as I have stated earlier THERE ARE NO SECOND CHANCE DO-OVERS. Please take my words very seriously, we need you and your beatiful music for many more years, as does your loved ones.

You'll get through this, and please don't ever hesitate to call me, I will build you up brotha, I'm committed to you and want nothing but peace, love and good happiness stuff for you and all my TTR bros.

We can do this together, we are a very strong community here and won't let you fall, and if you need our shoulders, get on my back I will carry you.

thank you brother i can feel it everything you say that you mean it and want to help,i appreciate that lot all of you here are great brothers to me. i feel fine i dont have speech problem and loss of mobility in my arm. im taking aspirin and lanzoprazol or something like that cant remember the name. i could go to A&E but problem is if you walk in you might have to wait min 4 hours till they see you. if they feel its urgent they will see you but if they think you can wait you will be there hours. also all this Corona stuff i dont really know how will they do things. im on it and im going to look after myself. with your and rest of the brothers support here we will make it. i think its not that bad as it sounds just they want to make sure its not what they think.

i played some guitar today making new song took my mind of it, been out walking with my wife and my boy in park , i run around with my boy everything seems fine.

thank you my brother and ill be in touch to let you and other know whats happening.

love you all

ramo

A word on aspirin. One seriously needs to be careful with that one too. Done right. Probably no issue. Done wrong...... read my previous post. Six units of high test later and I no longer reach for aspirin as my #1 pain killer. Not even in the house anymore.
Very true, I carry a list in my pocket of everything I've taken.

Just in case I'm not able to speak up.

I would go to A&E. It is worth the wait. Mind you it could well be one of those migraines. My thinking: it went away relatively quickly yhe first time on it's own. Sounds more like a TIA than a full blown stroke.
I am surprised they arent considering a bleed as well. In which case aspirin is not good.
Not to scare you, just sayin.
I would go as soon as possible. With those symptoms? Any history of strokes or heart disease?

What gets me is they said go if it happens again before the scan. But ut has already happened twice!
