Life

It started out very dark in a minor key. I wanted to get across that that death is part of life. We can keep our friends alive in our memories. I changed it to a major key so it wasn’t so dark. There is another verse about my brother who passed away suddenly a year and a half ago. His landlord found him dead on his kitchen floor. I found out when the police knocked on my door. I choke up too much when I try to sing that verse.

I feel ya on that, making the music..its so personal..emotional at times...you can hear me cry twice in this last batch. I favor the real heartfelt music people make , it takes you somewhere
 
Death is such a trip, Man. So many unknowns and people have such varied beliefs about the unknown. Funny, as you get older, you think about it more, and yet the vision is still unclear.

I've been taught that we go to a place where departed family and friends await our arrival, and though i want to believe that, i find my scientific mind in doubt.

Hmmmm....
