To put the true "value" of this guitar into perspective, here's the first week's earnings from Ol' Chibby.
This guitar also gets the most attention of them all. People really dig this thing.
Its definitely got good parts...and it was built to work the stage and studio..
Tuners are genuine Grover Keystone, a Faber TP-59 aluminum tailpiece, Gotoh ABR-1 Bridge hand slotted to 1/2 string diameter, CTS pots, poly wire harness, .018uf box capacitors, 10 feet of copper shielding tape, True-Tone HD Input Jack, Switchcraft 3-Way Toggle, Dunlop Dual Design Straplocks and my favorite, most organic pickups - Epiphone's H8BN/H6BN Ceramic 8 Bumbuckers.
This guitar also gets the most attention of them all. People really dig this thing.

If I did buy a genuine Gibson, it would have to be a a 1980's era Custom in wine red, with gold hardware....

But, I have to say, I really like how this counterfeit 1959 Les Paul looks. The wood, the basic build quality, is every bit as good as Gibson's of current production and, in some cases, better...
