It looks like you’re going to have to hope the plates that allow mounting those P90s to the pickguard are easily removed from the original pickups. It looks like they may bolt up where the normal body mounting screws would reside. The body is pretty thin, so sticking with the pickguard mounting system is probably a good idea. Then there’s the soldering..... ;)
I'm really digging that little MM.

re-soldering was "worked" into the deal -- Ill mount everything (HA HA HA I said MOUNT) and take it to MR CABANA BOY to solder -- maybe even eh will give me SOLDERING LESSONS????? and Guidance ? --- but I am a HORRIBLE student --- ask any of the teachers I ..uhm ......wait I think they are all dead of suicides or drug overdoses......er NEVER MIND

carry on my wayward Bastard! ;)

abut 2 months ago..got that Epi explorer & then the Deans & then the Superstrats. Have my select Gibson's..love em..all set up just right, was very picky in selection & the Gibby's didnt like went immediately, not many, but just not keepers. Going sell my 2020 Sg Special, its darn near the best guitar i ever played or seen quality wise .just never going to use it, got it 1 week before that Explorer or it wouldn't be here....

but with the amps & guitars.. can't begin to place country of origin or price into the equation with even mattering anymore. if its a player & intonation is on & stays, records & works live..that is my only requirement.
love the gear but really view it all as a tool to make music.. and dif tools for dif jobs is nice to have for creating, Maybe why i circulate so much..new season..new sound to make
