During the spring of ‘79, I was skipping school and visiting various record and music stores in Boston and Cambridge. I walked into Zzounds Records on Bolyston Street and was completely blown away by what I heard blasting out of the speakers. Bought UFO’s latest release, Strangers in the Night. To this day, I still think it is one of the top five live records ever released. RIP Pete.

Oh, wow, damn. UFO is one of my favorite bands, and Pete Way was a total bada$$. RIP

Also agree - Stangers In The Night is one of the best live albums ever, maybe THE best. I'll never forget the first time I heard that version of Lights Out, just destroyed my young mind.

Fun fact: I actually saw Fastway Live a couple of times on their first tour (1983?). They opened for Scorpions on the Blackout tour and I got to catch them in both DC and Baltimore. They were great.
