hacks follow up with the sturgeon...

You all have all been great. A very caring and concerned bunch.
And I thank you all, and owe everyone a beer and pizza.

I can sort of use the left hand now a wee bit.
Can hit the shift button with my undamaged pinkie and do caps again.
Feels so much better being free of that cast.
Movement is returning with every flex.
Yesterday my hand was somewhat stuck in this claw position from the cast.

Couldn't really move it, stiff and sore.
Today I can almost open my hand flat and stretch and spread my fingers somewhat.

Baby steps for sure, but something that I can see and feel.

Wow! Considering the trauma your left hand went through, it looks better than I was imagining it would. I love beer and pizza... :victoire:
Thanks Greg.
Believe me, I feel blessed.
A :poo:load of anxiety melted away when I seen all the fingers yesterday.
I know I misused seen in the sentence above, but "saw the fingers" still makes me queasy...

That looks pretty darn good, all things considered!! Between that and the x-rays, I am very hopeful for a good outcome now. Be diligent about the therapy brother!

Thanks Ray, some swelling going on today. Been icing it.
But my attitude is positive. All part of the process, I reckon.
Pain is negligible, so I'm super, ultra grateful for that.
Must be due to the fresh carbide saw blade, less meat ripping, (tissue damage) with a clean cut.o_O
My surgeon has been elevated to god status in my eyes now.
