I progressively went from 1,200 - 1,500 - 2,000 - 2,500 - 3,000 - 5,000 - 7,000. Then you can use auto/guitar polish to restore the shine or use Howard's Restor-a-Finish2000 grit?

I took the neck pup from my Hofner Double Cut and swapped the magnet for a rough cast A2wow...........its like glass!!!!!!!! (what pup you got in that beastie??)

I like em a lot. Resistance is 15k neck and 16k bridge. They are supposed to be reminiscent of the distortion pickups of the 70s. I don't know though... I wasn't smart about pickups when I was a teenager.Nice!!! Are you digging the Hexbuckers? Are they reminiscent of anything in particular?
