WELL damn it --
Ive convinced my self I NEED one of these (again)
I have had the Digitech Trio
and the Mooer GROOVE LOOP

I want SIMPLE (not this)

the mooer was more my "speed" -- but the drum machine sounded ---well thin and crappy

I am thinking the JOYO

MAYBE NUX

THERE ARE MANY ----prefer UNDER 100.00 (ifpossible) -- or if someone HAS a looper drum machine and might want to entertain a pedal swap?
Im open to options

suggestions are welcome of OTHER models ya'll may have experience with.

also an option but the drum machine SOUNDS crappy

tone of the drum seems better

agreed ;)

Maybe I shoulda given this one more TIME as it seems a bunch of stuff in one package

the trio seems like (or seemed) like a great tool
however you NEED the footswitch--
and it was just --- well to complicated......................

Way outside your budget I know, but the Trio is now superseded by the Trio+ at $355. Maybe needs the footswitch less?

I also been thinking of getting one of these drum machine/looper doohickies. Normally I download drum tracks and make my own loops but I am lazy and that's getting to be too much work. I like the idea of being able to pipe the drums out to a PA or separate amp the way some of these do.

Im leaning toward the Joyo as its cost effective and seems the SIMPLEST of the ones Ive looked at ---

The Trio with footswitch and all that ---- for me would end up getting hit with a hammer -- I had the first version of the Digitec Trio -- when MF was dumping them because the PLUS was coming out-- it didnt stay long --
but I have many hammers and few patience..............

had this one--- fit the SIMPLE -- fit the price -- but the TONE of the drums was just AWFUL

No love for something like EZ Drummer?
drag and drop loops to build a song...modify the loops if necessary...play it out of a computer, to speaker system of choice.

150.00 no looper.......................
and -- I need to download stuff and plug in a a laptop--- no........just no
the fact I am intereted in using a PEDAL is a GIANT leap for me --

at present 1 pedal existist in my chain-- an ANCIENT EH Holy GRail Reverb --- and its ONLY used on amps that dont HAVE reverb.......thats it.

my "chain" 99.99995% of the time----
Guitar or bass-- cord---amp--
done

ive sold all modeling amps (well the Fender Super Champ has "presets") --- no downloads -- no uploads -- no , just no --not spending 38 minutes twiddling knobs when I got 40 minutes of play time before I gotta feed the farm.... or clean up a dog mess....or chase grandkids....or trap a wounded bird so Shannon can save it --or clean out my a/c unit -- sandbag the front door for the coming hurricane---- or--- WTF ever--

"simple"be the key word (followed rapidly by CHEAP lol)
turn on, push a button ... get a beat....play --record--loop-- etc etc

Yeah, the EZDrummer thing doesn’t solve the looper pedal thing, but the drum loops are simple to toss in to a practice loop. It operates as a stand alone program, and can be routed to whatever speaker system you can hook up to the computer. It lives up to the name “EZ” IMO. I’ve set it up on two computers now(I just got a new laptop for the studio, and travel), and it’s been a simple process to download, install, and good to go. But I already have a Ditto looper pedal.

this seems functional -- and is the cheaper of the options
The RC-2 will be cheap, but only 2nd hand because it has be replaced by the RC-3. BOSS - RC-3 | Loop Station
RC-2 = more drum patterns (35 vs 10).
RC-3 = more memory slots and recording time (99 slots vs 11 slots/3 hours vs 16 mins).
The RC-3 is the one I am after. It looks even easier to use with the addition of an FS-7 for one-press stop, tap tempo and saved loop cycling/queuing/clearing.
The NUX Loop Core is basically a mono-input copy of the RC-3 BTW. NUX Loop Core Review - Looper Pedal Reviews
