So, not really today, more like Sunday....I got my new Vibe pedal. The Vibe Machine V2! It certainly does live up to its reputation on this forum!
This thing is clear and juicy! Not a bit as congested as some of the other Vibe pedals I’ve tried. I’ve been running it with the Treble Booster in front, and fuzz or distortion after...I haven’t got a bad sound to report from it yet! I’ve been feeding it P90 signal, almost exclusively, so far. I’ve had it set to “bright” mode, and I’ve felt free to roll back volume and/or tone to get in to the tonal range that has been in mind. I’m betting humbuckers would be happy here too. I’m still getting a feel for it...

Please forgive the mess...

Cool! Now you're hooked. Drybell makes great stuff. I really like mine.
Thanks! I’ve got to admit....I haven’t found a useless sound from this pedal yet. I’m very impressed!
I haven’t really dug in too deep though....the deep adjustments seem like a rabbit hole that I may venture in to at some point, but I think I’d rather explore an expression pedal first. :)

Yeah,
you do need some back-up pedals. What if one quits in the middle of a solo?
Plan ahead.

Yeah,
so witch ones are redundant now?....Just curious....Fuzz? Overdrive? Treble boost?...almost identical....;)...fair enough.:rolf:
The latest amp is a two channel...“clean“ and “distortion” channels are available. Any of that “out of line”? ;) However, I do use a single channel, homebrew(yep, I somehow managed to cobble it together...hasn’t killed me yet, and has seen a few gigs since 2009)1987-ish TMB circuit head often too...no effects loop...
Speaking of ”lines”...I do have a ”line selector” ;)that’s in use to turn the effects loop on and off...that’s where the delay, reverb, and chorus live if desired.
Then there’s the noise gate that keeps the dirt boxes quiet... but that’s always on. Is that offensive? Hope not....
The “hum debugger“ pedal is only for quelling single coil hum, if it gets offensive...that has been rare...it’s almost never on...only on occasion, with the really hot P90 guitars.(That one could go...but I’m not pressed for space)
The “Small Stone”?...that’s just a phaser....how will I play “Spirit of Radio” without a phaser up front? That’s just wrong, and Canada will have no part of that....I’m pretty sure.;)...and I like them....they've got a lot of hockey fans.
Wait! I get to keep the wah, right?!?!.... I made that one from scratch...That one is staying...Fu(k any outside opinion on that...getting that trimmed up to my liking was worth the work.
I have a tuner pedal too...it tells me if I’m in tune....kinda neat....it’s staying.
I know.... the “Ditto” looper... that pushes it over the top? But in this age of Covid...I need the ability to play with myself.....;)
Come on man...everything there has a purpose...I just prefer to be modular these days....multi effect rack units are so 1992....there’s a couple in the PA if I need them.:rolf:
Just kidding around with you...to be clear.:2Thumbs:
