Hack'man'do - glad to see you back. So, so sorry to have heard about your hand - hang in there, man.
I traded and amp for the Hondo guitar - pretty much a side ways trade I guess give or take a bit and who want's it type thing.

Cool on finding the site. The guy that had the guitar said he really liked it, it was his number one - but, he wanted my amp I guess - and he named it HoneyPie. Seems like a good name to me and a cool sticker so I left the name and sticker as is.

The guy I got it from thought it was a 70's guitar but wasn't sure. Are you familiar with this model Hondo? Any info would be much appreciated as it sure is scarce to find.

I had a Hondo II strat copy back in the day.
It plays ok. The action isn't super low, but that's ok as I don't set my guitars up that way anyways. Unplugged it has a great sound/vibe to it - good good good vibrations type thing. Plugged in the seymour duncan '59's take over so all is good there.
