This is the Poem my Wife read at her dads funeral. She always wanted to make it into a song..here is our try at it..its a Poem by Anonymous.. someone out there..this is whoever wrote it words to our music. Also at end of song made it so it can go into part 2, wrote a new part to it that will be called "When I'm Gone 2", it takes off the last part of song & its about all the good memories

Ahh man. tough stuff. It was emotional no doubt. If i couldn't make music and let stuff out..would be a mess. Today i recorded, Not For Sale.. a song i wrote 10 years ago about children being kidnapped like my daughter was.,
Think am finally letting go of things. I go back thru these songs we have made..sure did expose us..real & to the point songs.. todays tracking..my gosh..DSL 50 & JMP & Firebird & Explorer. recroded the rythym with both amps..Explorer into DSL & Firebird into JMP..in Drop C..super heavy & double kick drum breakdown that i let run for a lot lnger than usual. Coming down after the session..thinking about how brutal 2012 was when she went to school & never came home for 6 months. I felt it in the music no doubt

And damn, you have had some rough patches in life. I can’t image having my child kidnapped. If I read it correctly, you did get her back, correct?

2012 daughter kidnapped
2012 start 24 locksmith biz that won't end( 16 guns pulled on us, 3 on me)
2016 Dad gets cancer.. 2 times given near fatal doses,(allergic reaction organs shut down)
2016 - Wife's gets hit with 120 lb box in the head as co worker knocks package off shelf
2018 - On ladder with chainsaw about 12' up..the foot of ladder splits & luckily threw the chainsaw but fell with my leg under ladder & leg is permanently bent & was knocked out for a few minute..poor wife watched the whole thing & it really messed her up..cause i basically take care of her 24/7..it made her so uneasy for quite a bit
2018 - creamed by DUI driver..Wife REAL bad...
2018 - 6th grand-kid born at 1 lb 8 ounces as baby as the heart started to stop..emergency c section..daughter in hospital for a month..baby doesn't come home for 6 months
2020 - Wife seizes & hits head on door & looses consciousness..cant talk for a week..every song we do is a miracle at this point..

Damn, I hope you play the lottery as you deserve a real good positive period in your life. Keep cranking out the songs too!
