My new project.

Looks sweet, Hack! How's it play?
Thanks, it plays like a $129 Squire.
No, it's not bad really. Had to polish the frets, they felt scratchy when bending.
The neck is sweet. Nice & thin, plus the 24" scale makes it play so easy.
The overall quality is great. Solid bones.
The Generictrons sound decent.
They're really more of a mini humbucker with 12 adjustable poles.
A real Tron has a thick ass magnet, these are just a polished 1/8" alnico.
But they're a nice change from my usual dark and brooding overwound ceramic thingies.

It was a nice guitar before I started, and now, it still is.
So I give it a thumbs up.

Well, its together.

It didn't go quite as planned, but my adapt and overcome mentality always prevails, and it did once again right here.

The pickguard was supposed to have a top horn, like a Jazzmaster, but some dumb ass (me) ordered a sheet of pickguard material that was a wee bit too small. Oops.
Along with the top horn, it was supposed to cover the old bridge holes. That didn't happen either.
Had to fill five holes & try to match the paint color. From a foot away, you can't even notice.
But I notice, and it bugs the :poo: out of me...

But it's together. Concentric 500k volume & tone pots.
Neck & bridge pickups through 3 way switch into first (top) set of vol & tone pots.
Middle pickup wired out of phase to other set of vol & tone pots.
Guitar Madness, Artec version of Magnatron pickups.
Switchcraft SG toggle switch, and a little ol' Bigsby B5 to get my wang on with.

Now, time to get a case of beer & a pizza for me & the dog for dinner.

That is different looking and very cool look'n...
