This will be a fun one, parts are rolling in.
Should be playing it by early next week.
It must be noted that the idea was originally Adrians (eSGEe).
He was the one who had the masterplan to "tron" the Mustang.
However the Trons were a different size from the buckers in the Mustang, so the idea was abandoned.
But when I learned that said Mustang was on Craigslist at a price I could not refuse, I acted.
When he handed me the guitar, the box of trons came with it. That was just icing on the cake for me.
So I had a new project in the works.
Should be playing it by early next week.

I got the project to Genesis------- then ----- there was soldering and PG creation and stuff involved------I would have EVENTUALLY done it-- maybe-- but--

Well, its together.
It didn't go quite as planned, but my adapt and overcome mentality always prevails, and it did once again right here.
The pickguard was supposed to have a top horn, like a Jazzmaster, but some dumb ass (me) ordered a sheet of pickguard material that was a wee bit too small. Oops.
Along with the top horn, it was supposed to cover the old bridge holes. That didn't happen either.
Had to fill five holes & try to match the paint color. From a foot away, you can't even notice.
But I notice, and it bugs the
out of me...
But it's together. Concentric 500k volume & tone pots.
Neck & bridge pickups through 3 way switch into first (top) set of vol & tone pots.
Middle pickup wired out of phase to other set of vol & tone pots.
Guitar Madness, Artec version of Magnatron pickups.
Switchcraft SG toggle switch, and a little ol' Bigsby B5 to get my wang on with.
Now, time to get a case of beer & a pizza for me & the dog for dinner.

But hopefully this little Mustang can fill the void.
