HAPPY Birthday USA

Philadelphia PA had a bad year with consumer fireworks. All kinds of crap was legalized a few years ago. My neighborhood has a large playground near by. We get together each year to celebrate the birth of our country by blowing up a small part of it. I shot off 200 and 500 gram arial multishots. I had so much fun. It was a release for all of us.

The neighbors across the road blew off a bunch of fireworks yesterday - it went of for a while - not sure how money went boom, but it must have been a fair chunk of change. The landlord told us we couldn't shoot off fireworks on holidays no more, so we gave them a bunch we had t blow off too.
 
There were a LOT more fireworks around my neighborhood last night than in the last few years.
No complaints except one of my 2 dogs gets stressed.
It all settled down by around 10.
We enjoyed the show immensely.
 
they are still setting some off around here--------its almost 11:30...........Im about to get my 12 gauge and set off a few of my own ------ with a loud VERBAL 4 letter riddled message following ......................
dogs are calm .....but "F"it I wanna go to bed !

its not good to piss off old----ARMED--- rednecks.........hellI got some shells need used before they go bad...........where did I put those????

I can remember in Hawaii, the locals went berserk on July 4 and new years.
They set off so many fireworks, you would not see clearly more than about 3 feet through the smoke. 3 feet is stretching the visibility.
Hundreds of thousands of firecrackers continuously for hours.
I remember waking up on July 5, and finding 45 slugs landed in the parking lot. People just shoot guns into the air with no thought.
Somebody I knew handed me an incredibly dangerous high powered skyrocket, with M80 built in. It was like 1/4 stick of dynamite.

I launched that sucker, and when it blew at 30,000 feet, that was soooooo awesome.
