The siding is actually a composite material, but all the facias are wood as is the entire deck. Gonna replace the deck next year with a concrete one.
We put in 2 junction boxes and replaced all the damaged Romex. Also added another outlet to power an IP camera.

Just about done with the repairs, almost 3 months later (we did install all new windows so that took a few weeks). Just need the gutters installed and some final electrical work.

Yep, learned THAT lesson the hard way. Next year we doze the deck and put up a stamped concrete and glass deck. BBQ will be in a far corner with nothing but cement and glass near by.

The windows are a great upgrade from the 1991 ones. That 10ft one in the kitchen is to die for with our view.
