I rescued a 1979 one, it was very neglected. Here’s how it was strung when I picked it up.

Ever since i learned the fenders & got into offsets..love em..really hit an amp in such a usable way for creativity..the Mrs agreed to more Gibson's cause they are my main sound

She helps me pick em out once decide on what pickup is needed to sound dif than others...we have a Firebird.... Flying V... Explorer...The SG... EB on the list of approved next ones .. she really wants me to get the whole 2014 line up..lol cause my first G was the 2014 SGJ & Superficial & Ruin were done on that,,

crazy story..Brian the singer for 8 years got in trouble , game over with this incarnation of the band & she never sangbefore ..grabbed the mic in practice 1 day..stunned..we just changed gears on the spot.. wrote those 2 songs & Tracks & Dont Bother all in 1 week. Finally got the gear situated, will def work on songs all around the vocals..got the heavies pretty done..they happen..mostly when plug into DSL..can't help it the gain channel is so right there naturally.

oh man...nice. The LP i have has stock T-buckers...did the T's come in the SG's stock? they are very open & airy without any mud..like a juiced up PAF with same clarity but more oomph
