Those of you that know me or know about me, know that I have not been able to keep up with everything going on here recently at TTR due to real life activities occupying the majority of my time. Fortunately I have a couple of partners that are here like stink on poop and they do monitor EVERYTHING going on here. In addition we have a moderation team second to none. They are not forum nazis looking for any excuse to lay down the ban hammer, but do very much to help keep this a happy place. I thank you my partners and the moderators that keep this place going.

It has been brought to our attention that this forum seems to be drifting off track from what we originally created it to be. To begin with, there is no need to bad mouth other forums. I'm actually glad that they exist because that is how ALL of you members found us. You heard about us on another forum. If y'all are happy at the other forum and wish to be members of TTR and other forums, more power to you! If you find interesting information on another forum, that's great, we appreciate you sharing. If you find that another forum no longer meets your needs, that's fine too. If you decide to no longer visit another forum, that is your free choice. If you decide that this forum no longer meets your needs, this too is your choice. We do not own our members. Something that I find very funny is when I am listening to a radio talk show and people call or write in to say they aren't going to listen to that show any more. Then they listen to hear if there message is played or read. WTF? If they aren't going to listen to the show, turn the dial and don't look back. This is the same philosophy I have on forums. If you no longer wish to visit a forum, don't visit it. However there is no need to bring that decision to this forum. There is no need to bad talk other forums here at TTR. All of us have visited other forums. Some of us feel that TTR is the best forum on the net. Some feel it is better than some, but not the best. Some feel it is average and some feel it sux. Wherever your opinion lies, it is your opinion and not everyone else may share that same opinion.

I ask that you keep any and all negative opinions, statements, insults and bad attitudes of other forums OFF of this site. If you have a positive experience with another forum that you wish to share, please by all means share it with us. We are not afraid we will lose members if they find one of the other eleventy billion sites on the net. Exactly the opposite. There is no way we can store all music related information on this site, so sharing info that is not already posted here is encouraged. You can place a link to it, no problem. This is just one of the reasons we here at TTR are unlike most of the other interweb sites.

Now about COVID-19. It sux, it sux big time! I've been out of work for 3 months and do not know if I will be called back to my job. I've been applying to copious job ads and have not had 1 offer for employment. Although I designed and coded this site, I don't feel that I have the right to come rain on everyone's parade with my concerns. I don't know if COVID-19 was started from bat soup or a Illuminati conspiracy to reduce world population by 90%, start a New World Order with a single government and cashless society. Even if I did have PROOF of any of these things, this is not the grandstand for any of this. This is a music forum dedicated to the never ending pursuit of finding the ultimate tone that we all came here to find. When I come here it's to escape the hours of news about COVID-19. I come here to escape the hours of news about protests. If I want to be surround by these events, I have a TV, I have a radio, I know how to use Google and I can encompass my life with these issues if and when I decide to do so. When I am ready to escape the job searches, escape the TV news, escape the radio news, escape the interweb news, I like to come here, check in with my TTR brothers and sisters, see what @bea 's latest project is. See how @Don O 's new studio is coming along. See how @guitarweasel 's health is doing. See how @BFT Gibson 's wife is recovering. See which instrument has @Sp8ctre 's fancy this week. See what new critters are living in @eSGEe 's farm. There are lots of subjects we can discuss that are off topic from the pursuit of tone, but these are all positive threads. These are all real life events that don't bad talk other forums and don't make speculations on why bad poop is happening in the world. We have enough bad going on in the world without bringing the bad poop here. So I ask you to please check your shoes before entering our home and scrape the poop off, leave the dirty shoes outside. Even @eSGEe with all his farm animals knows not to track poop in the house.
