I used to get frozen cheeseburgers from a vending machine at work sometimes lol

You can build a tolerance to those if you push through it

Here's a burger joint I've never tried before. It's a little bit exciting to be getting something, anything, other than what we already have around here. I checked them out online and I have to say, looks pretty good. Of course, I rarely meet a burger I don't like...

Anyone been to a Fatburger? Any good?

Yea man Fatburger is pretty good.
When I first became a carpenter, it was one of the places we used to go quite often.

I think part of my dissatisfaction was the shredded lettuce. I prefer my lettuce to be whole leaf.

Same here Grant, when I know it shredded, I have them leave it off !

I'd prefer lettuce leaf whole too.....but damn, have you ever had a McChicken without the shredded lettuce? Yuck! Lol

Must be a texture thing....I don't like watermelon because of the mouthfeel...tastes just fine, but I do not like the texture whatsoever. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lettuce though, even shredded, offers a hint of crispness to the texture that I really enjoy. Lettuce is one of my favorite things about a burger, taco, etc..

Not really the same at all, the Fatburger is much better IMO. Five Guys is good, but the big draw seems to be the free peanuts...

I've got Culver's, Five Guys and White Castle all right by me. They are all good in different ways. I'd like to try a Fat Burger. I mean, who doesn't like a Fatty?

Tommy's is fantastic if you are looking for a thinner burger! I love them too...

Another local place with 3 or 4 stores is Primo.

Sure, you can add patties to make a 1/2 pound, but the burgers are still thin. It's not a bad thing, just the style of the joint.

I still love them!

We had one near us, but it closed down, I think location may have been a factor, it was only there for about 2-1/2 years
