thanks for the reminder..need to find "The SG" to match "The Paul" man i thought the guitars were completed...feel a lil tug with all the Gibson recording lately...also...My Firebird ..has 496r & 496t.. 8.5 & 10.9..its not the 500t..always wondered why this thing is such a killer clean but bold big clean & it handle high gain very well or simply bumps a stock Fender into slight breakup even ..that jus tover the break point..lof fun in that range. I never did too well with the 500 . Looking at firebirds again & def a neck thru & the low output firebird pickups..probly have to go custom pickups to get there
 
only DOWN side to the OLIVE DRAB -----its GLOSSY...........I mean er WTF?!?! ---OLIVE DRAB (by definition Gibson) is "drab"

They look too much like ‘70s SGs for my tastes. Maybe pulling the inlays, and throwing some Custom style inlays in there would help improve the looks.
