I bet if I recorded my JTM 45 that has been converted to all original specs, and the Nano Tubes, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference.I don't knoe how close they actually are but the designer designed it as a replacement for his own original JTM45 so it should be at least passable.
It's more than just a pedal, it's a 4 channel 100 watt amp in the size of a pedal. I need a larger pedal board...
I think it does a phenomenal job of getting those tones. And once distortion/ overdrive is used they are scary close. The Marshall is playing a tube amp, which is the best playing experience, imho.
But I'd use that nano tubes for my daw recording any day, and much easier to get good tones for recording fast.
