Rory Gallagher's SG

I was at that exhibit. It was eerie seeing his guitars and amps in sarcophagi, and not on a stage.
I can Imagine. That's why I like seeing guys like Joe Bonamassa borrowing the guitars to play them. I can't help but thinking that a museum like that is full of the silent screams of guitars wanting to escape to be played by a dedicated musician.

For me that was a little tough watching Bonamassa having the privilege of playing Rory's Strat and sounding like Eric Johnson. Sorry, I've tried to like Joe's playing, he's got the chops, just not his own.

Wow....I totally get you. While I respect Joe as a musician, his playing has never been able to hold my attention long enough to get through a complete song...

I get way more feeling and emotion out of this guy...
