Yes. Tuner/volume/tone. I just plugged in. Sounds nice plugged in, but it shines unplugged (which guess is true of most acoustics). I really appreciate having an on-board tuner on an acoustic since you are often not plugged inDoes your GS Mini have the electrics in it?
Well done sir! Nice playing! So here is the GS Mini and a Martin Dread. Tonally different, but rather close in projection IMHO. Probably not hard to guess which is which, but I will hold off on the reveal for now.
Thanks!Well done sir! Nice playing!
Don’t wanna blow the ID too quick...gotta let others have a turnThanks!
Any guess at ID, or preference?
Thanks...and thanks for suggesting the pencil mic. This was my first real use.Don’t wanna blow the ID too quick...gotta let others have a turn.
I’ll say this; I liked both...so much that I had to listen twice to form an opinion, and it was very difficult to choose a “preference” really. If I was forced to pick a favorite of the two, I’d have to give the nod to the second sample. Overall articulation, the second sample just edges out the first IMO. The first sample’s first passage and outro are outstanding to me though.
If you run in to too much boomieness (not a word, I know, but I’m using it), aim the mic more toward the 12th fret...a little at a time....until you find bliss.Thanks...and thanks for suggesting the pencil mic. This was my first real use.
I know you spent a lot of time bringing me from knowing nothing to something when if comes to recording, but I am making the most of it and it is paying dividends. Forever grateful!!
