I've spent a lot of money there and drank a lot of beers at the Colorado bar next door, Ate a lot of meals at Denny's, spent many hours in Pooh Bah's. This is my hometown. I remember when GC was a Carpeteria, Pooh Bah's was on Walnut and there was a post office across from Denny's on the north side of the street. If not for my grandson and that GC, this forum might not have ever existed.

Below is Burla, I bought her brand new at GC in 2010 so I could teach my grandson how to play. She's been through a whole lot of mods and reincarnations since then and was the kindling that ignited my GAS for the past decade. Yeah, I have gone to Pasadena Guitar Center.

Awesome story! Yeah, Been to GC, Dennys, Pooh Bahs myself a bunch of times. Not much of a drinker, but I've been in the Colorado Bar once. Maybe some day we can meet up or meet @ GC down the road & talk guitars or whatever?

I'm not very good, just so you know.

If it weren't for my good friend John who gifted me a 2011 LP Junior& an amp, I might not be here. I was/am very lucky he gifted me a brand new one a few years back.
 
I'm much better at building web sites than I am plying guitars. You might notice my status in the SGPO below in my signature below. FWIW, I'm not much of a drinker either these days, that was in my past life when I was young, single and imortal. Now I'm old, married with grandchildren and very mortal.

Some of our Florida members have semi-regular meeting they call MOTM a.k.a. Meeting Of The Mindless. I'm looking forward to a west coast version :cool:
