It's coming tomorrow...Looks like I'm going to be central to the worst of it. Thought we were done with this crap.

As long as we don't loose power, we'll be good. Cross your fingers.

Tomorrow they're saying 1 to 2 feet of snow which is really no big deal, but they're also saying 60 mile an hour winds which is my concern. I live down a dirt road in the middle of the Woods and them there trees like to fall

Years ago, when a friend of mine decided to move to a country district, he deliberately chose the road the local hospital was on - he knew that of all roads around, that one was getting ploughed for sure if there was snow.

There has been no snow.

I like snow, and it's winter, that's what happens. I just don't want to lose power and have no heat, and have my pipes burst. Again!

It's the wind combo. I live in the square above the "67mph old lyme" marker.

On a positive note, looks like I don't have work tomorrow..and I'll be able to jam all day long. I have been working on some new riffs, and I'm loving it. I literally had to unplug and run to my car this morning cause I was pushing time. So, that im excited for.

Plus, I'm stocked with food. I love food!:)

25"? That's the fall, yes? I mean drifting goes on top of that. And with 60mph winds there will be a lot of drifting. That is a lot of snow all in one hit.

watching my morning local news and there showing pics and talking bout a monster snow storm for your neck of the woods

Yup, that's just the drop. The drifts will be ridiculous.

As long add my coffee pot works!

I remember the blizzard in '78. It was beyond anything I've seen before or since. Winds then were 80-111 mph.

People didn't make it off the hwy...their cars were left on the hwy. We, as a community, were not prepared.

Our Governor, Ella Grasso, was forced to abandon her car, and walk the rest of the way to the state armory. The national guard was called in to help out.

Our current gov will help out, buy just raising taxes....but, I digress.
