The newer ones got a lot better when they started using 18 volt Lithium batteries, compared to the old Ni Cad ones.
It's really noticeable difference.
Many years ago I bought a cheap $ 25ft air compressor hose from them. Then one day I had the compressor on, set to around 90 psi, and was working outside, so I plugged this new 25ft extension hose into my good hose. It took less than a second to pressurize and BAM, the hose split open like a can of sardines. Never bought anything from them again.
