Got Stimulas?

I am starting to 2nd guess our decision to wait for a paper check.
I am wondering if they end up saying, "sorry, the funds are gone".
I think I read this will not be counted as taxable income, but I am not %100 sure.

When or if we do get this, there will be no discretionary spending.
I haven't bought sh*t in months, except for a $40 2 piece skillet set through curbside pick up at Bed, Bath, and Beyond last weekend.
Wait, I did order 3 rock themed t-shirts on Ebay too....

We are saving this for the uncertain and possibly lean or even tumultuous times ahead.
The fall out from this pandemic may be the very thing that brings the divide among folks in the USA to a boiling point, specifically in this election year.

Not trying to start any political discussion; just saying we are concerned and not spending right now.
Though we will try to get out and support local business, family style restaurants a bit as things open up.
