So Anyway...

May.
My mom was born, and died, in May.
Miss her.

My house looks the best - in May.
Freshly powerwashed, yard cleaned up.
White dogwood is in bloom and the bushes look vibrant and lively.
Lawn looks it best toward the end of the month.

So anyway, my well pump - used for lawn sprinklers, hose bibs, etc., started going all squirrely last week.
Short cycling the pressure switch.
There was no pressure in the expansion tank, so I filled it to 2 lbs under the switch cut-in pressure, as per instruction.
Called it good and played some AC/DC riffs / rhythms / parts of songs to celebrate.

It starts squirreling again while power washing Saturday.
Finally figured the in-line check valve was blowing by and bleeding off pressure.
Replaced it, Its all good now.

I will check it over after work in about 4 hrs.
If its all good, think I'll play some AC/DC riffs / rhythms / parts of songs to celebrate.
Seems to be the best fit for me as to my guitar skills and abilities, or lack thereof.
Really getting the feel and picking / strumming patterns right in mostly 3 or 4 chord songs is surprisingly challenging.

Files this in memory banks for my own house, as when I bought it, the plumbing, well, septic, oil burner were all suspect. I did however know the well ( spring fed) would cycle on and off frequently,. I decided to shut it down and forget about it for the past 10+ years. House is basically a home for my stuff, not for actually living in at present.

IN LINE CHECK VALVE, INLINE CHECK, VALVE. IN LINE CZech Valve

I'm sure that Sabbath and Hendrix were major influence to just about all rock musicians...
I know that they were a major influence to my playing.
1968 was the turning point in music. It was the right place and the right time for it.

Were you 4 years old in 1968?

I was 12 but my brother was 18 and a sister 17. Music was in the house :dood:

Speaking of music in the house. It is almost surreal how at my age, I can barely remember where I put things or what I was saying to people before I finish my sentence. Still wrestling with why I forget why I was saying something or what the heck I was trying to say mid sentence.

Yet, I can remember nearly everything as far back as 1968. Music wise, I am pretty sure it was all the top 10 of kids records and or classical stuff like Peter and the Wolf, or Nutracker. However, by 1972 I still have memories of what would be popular and even the cornerstones of legendary music. I know I have mentioned listening to Tom Jones, but in the next few years around 1973- 9 years old, I would hear Smoke on The Water while in the barber chair. I had visited my cousins in Barberton Ohio and heard electric bass playing carrying what seemed like miles away through the air. It was so cool, my one cousin and I took to following the sound through the woods, across streams, over the field and finally found the guy's house where he was playing outside in his driveway. Also around this same time, at my grandma's sister's house in Cleveland, I saw an ad on her TV for a popular hits album called The Sound Effects- Autumn '73 and asked her if I could have the $1.78 or whatever it cost to buy that on the spot. She agreed to it and I wore that thing out. I also remember being sick with a fever one day at home and going to my best friend's house directly behind ours. No one was home but his High School aged sister who was able to soothe my infirmity by wrapping me up in a cocoon of warm blankets in a big comfy chair in her bedroom, she said it would break my fever. Then she and I talked and listened to records. She played me Jesus Christ Superstar and by the time it finished, my fever did indeed break.

I won't rehash all the other future musical experiences except to say in the next 3 years by 12 years old I had my first exposures to the giants of the times from 1963-1976 which was to be like lighting the kindling of a fire that would later be akin to Smokey the Bear's PSA theme by 1978, I will use these video clips to illustrate my timeline as described above.

HAHAHA, Now that I replayed Uneasy Rider, I had vivid memories of just where my sense of humor of today was formed. Hard to imagine by 9 years old that music and humor would be linked forever for me. LOL ' I kicked old Green Teeth right in the Knee."

Intewesting obsewation.... The '68 era had the greatest rock band in the world, the Allman Brothers, gathering their iconic lineup. Cream was at their peak. Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rush, Yes, King Crimson were beginning. The Stones and Beatles were making their best music.

And of course what foundation of my R N R life would be complete without the likes of all my favorite across the pond bands.
WHAT a Friggin tune this is as my cherry popper to Priest!!!! HAHA imagine my surprise, 4 or 5 years ago to find out it was Fleetwood Mac's song
And of course Iommi, Faeiries Wear Boots is likely my favorite Sabbath tune, likely due to something about the changes, energy, and flat out Rockin.

Thank you so much Glenn and KK for some of the best guitar music ever.
