Getting Ready to Cover Another 2x12

Which fabric to you all like? You know I'm strange like this with the fabric coverings...

...I'm a big fan of Green, but not sure this one works?

There you go...green was my vote...it looks like it will work with the others(or without).
The covering on that “Blown” cab....it blows me away!...very cool.

I say go with green one. The pattern is very different, and I like green. The reddish one looks cool too, but it reminds me a lot of the PRS amps that came out about 10 years ago.

My vote is green as well
Think it will work really nicely with a black or white head on top.

Just fair warning, I had a bluesbreaker recovered in orange, so my taste may be questionable.

Snakeskin is the only choice for the best tonez.
Much fuller sounding than vinyl or tweed.

I wanted to go with the green the most, but after draping the material over the speaker cab the red paisley type looks better.

I think I'll end up going with the red...it's a little heavier as well which is a good thing.

I've learned a lot doing these coverings and this one is going to be the best yet. Now that I know how to plan properly and cut and layer the material
where needed I know this one will be nice. I've also learned a lot about the gluing and subsequent lacquering of the cab. You have to do a really good
glue job and let it dry or the material will bubble and lift when you lacquer it...

There are some super cool patterns on cloth...however most of those are very thin and meant for sheets and such.
I have yet to find any of those patterns in a heavy enough cloth to work well on an amp or cab...

...and I looked at some Denim covered amps and I really don't like them...not even a little bit.
