My Rondo "Tele Thinline" style guitar came today with an issue...or maybe not. Are these simply finish cracks or something I should be concerned about? I do not feel anything to the touch.

These pictures show the issue to be much worse than it is when it is not under florescent lights. If they are just finish cracks, I will simple ask for a price reduction. I will return it if I must, but the return shipping process bums me out. I can take more pictures if there is an angle that will be more helpful.

All opinions appreciated. Thanks.

wow.......can you get a pick up inside to see if it is surface only?

Was it a "scratch and dent"?
 
AH! yes.....semi hollow not hollow------ do the cracks run along the center block?

Kurt is usually good to work with ya.
If its not structural I would worry abut it. Hard to tell from a pic. Any texture can you "feel" the lines?

Nope, smooth as silk. I tried to buzz it out, but no real result
 
YOu got the battle scars out of the way early. :)

Some strategic pin striping could creatively mask the issue
