Vertical Pedal Board build

Nice, but there's space for three more on that wall - incomplete!
Thats the point...lol.... left a few spots open...can't quite kill the research games at night yet.. fell into this night routine..Wife falls asleep early..then i watch gear videos...pick a few items out..have my own virtual shootout between them. Learning to watch & not buy these days..

The Payoff...my new central command center... Comfy seat on the bed..to the right is the tweak board..down below is 2 excellent recording amps with dif flavors & to the left is the JBL ION PA to play along to..all the amps are around me ..so i just plug in until hit the tone. but the 2 on floor coming back at me on a tilt is writing heaven. The single 6l6 turned out to be optimum level & also gets the 5 ish clean & break 7ish & dime lead thing on the guitars vol & tone knobs. I don't use effects much but the MS3 is fully programmed over the years for all modulation to be used in the BK12 loop. What i found out & huge huge payoff is:

XP - TS - Knockout in a row you see on bottom tier

level the signal or clean boost...then TS pick your mid bump then the Knockout has High & Low filter to tweak so precisely the sound..get some mud out...add thump...tame highs..ad more air in the tone. All without changing my amps sound..key for me..i change amps for the gain tone not pedals..like em in their natural ..what they are killer at range...no need to move them to somewhere they don't do good at. This is 5 years of a search...that really began the day got my first SG when i switched from bass to guitar 5 years ago..the guy was a monster player..he showed me how to run a guitar into a tube amp using the guitar & amp as the main tone..without much but small tweaks in eq or gain. many thanks to that gent. here is my view of where i make the songs..going to the bandroom to drum..see if we can make a song by the end of the day using this new set up.
