Traynor

I had one of these amps. In a GAS frenzy I sold it to a friend to get the funds for a guitar I had to have. For the next three years every time I saw him I tried to buy it back. He wouldn’t sell. Earlier this year I acquired a Traynor YCV-20WR and I quit asking him if I could buy it back. They are both great amps.

I have the Traynor YCS100 head. 3 channels, loaded. Notbreally a Marshall, has it's own flavor. I gotta play it more.

Yorkville Canada has been one of our favorite sound system manufacturers for several years.
Nice to see Traynor back in action with Yorkville.

Yes indeed Amp Mad, Peter Traynor who was owner of Traynor amps , decided to partner with his employee Jack long to form Yorkville Sound . In 1976 Peter sold out his shares of the amp business and the sound business to Jack Long. Which he slowly phased out the Traynor name over the next 17 years, until Yorkville Sound reintroduced the Traynor Brand in 2000 with the YCV ( Custom Valve ) model. Jack long is still the owner of the Company, and is also known for the 86 LongMcQwade music stores across Canada. Where they're shops sell Guitars, gear, and have instore music lessons of all kinds.
