Is Less More?

It's 45 degrees out and raining, so I have been effing around with amps and guitars in the man cave whilst drinking beer all afternoon. And yes, I plan to continue for quite some time. Anyway, I just recorded this with the 2013 white Signature T Lester on the lead pick up volume and tone all the way up. This is the 2203 full stack as usual, but I pulled the gain down to 3 on the Hi channel and turned the volume up until I could feel it moving air. Presence and tone are all at noon and using two mics as I always do on the A cab. Oh, and there is just a hint of Soul Food to liven it up a bit.

What do you think of the tone? I'm kind of digging not running the gain on 8.

Looks like you can still get it at Musicians Fiend. I wonder what I would have to do to mod my own.

Where ya been sleepy?
Relapsing into video game addiction. Ain't got much else to do for a while. I did go to the jam space a few days ago to bring a guitar home, but since all my "fun" gear is in that space, I just haven't really been inspired to play at home through my little mg30...but it's coming sooner or later. I can feel it.

Yes less is more.
Or so I was taught in New Orleans.
I think maybe Leo invented that concept.
