Just a little over a year ago the only bass I owned was the one on the left.
Then I was curious about the Peavey T-40...so I picked up the one in the middle...
By summer I had 3 Peaveys! One has SIX frikken strings too!
Then I picked up the Glarry J bass on a lark.

Yes, they are splittable humbuckers(they can function as either single coil, or humbucker). Some bass pickups(like stock Fender Jazz style) are single coil..some may be split coil humbucking.

I found its mahogany body, maple neck, with rosewood fingerboard. Imliking the build materials and even new not a bad price.
