Confession..i like tele;'s 2 weeks ago ..hated em..just finally got the right one & it is so usable for recording..so precise..that is a awesome tele !! I favor the natural look,,fantastic score !! Play it proudly !!

I love that telecaster, and yeah the black multi-ply pickguard looks perfect - that is pretty close to my ideally specc'd Telecaster - really, really nice.
Yeah, the LP is beautiful too (never been a LP guy, but can appreciate a lovely guitar).

Thank you Mr Grumpy! I am very pleased with my recent additions. I have pared down the number of guitars in favour of getting exactly the ones I want.
Yep, the black guard made the look of that Tele stand out.

Unburst sure doesn't mean unflamed. Plus the small neck. I'm in love.

That Tele deserves a black guard, that guitar wouldn't be complete without one. Only my opinion.Yep, the black guard made the look of that Tele stand out.

Interestingly, when I was replacing the pickguard, I was surprised to find that the body is routed for a humbucker in the neck AND for a single coil in the mid position. Lots of tonal options available should I choose to make some mods in the future.

Ha ha! Yes I did. Long hours alone under sedation in a padded room gives one time to formulate many plans and contemplate strategies.
Luckily I was able to extricate myself from the white sport coat with the sleeves at the back with assistance from an orderly I bribed with promises of “favours”!
