The Muse I Adorn

^^ surely that should be in the guitars and beer thread!

What's not to love about a Pelham Blue SG? Everytime I see one, I get gas. Never seen that Pale Ale before, looks interesting.

It’s brewed in Lyman, Maine. The Funky Bow Brewery has got some good ones. There’s the G-String Pale Ale in the photo, then the Too Folkin’ Hoppy IPA, and Panama Red Amber. They have a couple more down at the brewery. It’s a small operation, but really fun. I hope to stop there Friday on the way home. They normally have live bands on Fridays, a big bbq fire pit going, and a wood fired pizza oven.

Changed the nut on this tonight. It got rid of some plink on the G string and buzz on the low E string. Nice!!

Recently, I had a plinky G I thought was the TOM bridge wire clip, and noticed it changed when poking around putting my finger on the string at the nut slot or bending behind the nut.
A couple of careful strokes with a nut file to ONLY widen the slot fixed it 100%

Always loved that guitar, Ray. A bit busy for my taste, but that one pulls it off nicely.

I enjoy stopping a Mason’s Brewing when I’m heading to my friend’s cabin.
Good stuff to be had around there, for sure!
enjoy!

I went to Mason’s last night. The menu items are named quite cleverly. Had the Fennel Countdown Pizza. The Basil Fawlty Pizza looked good, but don’t like white sauce on pizza. Had a couple of Psychic War pale ales, and a Hipster’s Apocalypse IPA for desert.
