Yes !! and more YES !! Held out a lil cause was debating the newer Reverb version..but opted for the clear signal path..don't use reverb at all & absolutely no need for a MV..the amp hits like nothing i have experienced. man, been going down the wrong path way too long last few years..way too many of the same ol same ol amp..thinking each one would do something dif..the peavey's & fenders & supro just open the tone up. & uncongest the mix for our singer to fall into.

I strum for the singer to glue a song for live work. Got this amp cause of the speaker & how it handles the low E & G chord..it holds together, no boominess//no stinker..no flub. The speaker to me is not voiced Brit..its more Big Ameican..with the mids forward just enough.

The Tubes 6793, are def in a zone..in the middle of American gone el84ish but more clarity..the Supro & Blues Classic pair so well..scary well. Maybe not doing the super heavies is the zone..more fuzz lately.. can nail early Sabbath on this & of course dimed..it does nail Whole Lotta Love..right smack on. On my end..originals ..this is such a tone monster... can break this amp anywhere precisely..the tele is so good..the LP more aggression.

The 2 channels blend..after noon any degree of hair you want. The KLON CL & Supro Drive(stupid crazy fuzz but tight) & treble boost all work & they dont fizz..the amp stays tight but allows for you to decide when & how much to break it. The channels can blend with adds a bass or treble flavor & single channel is just bliss. There is progressive gain in the tone kngb some how..noon to 4 pm opens up the tone somehow ..wider,,,,focused & even in your face a lil. Have to really give this a super positive review..the mix..i did test it already..it will get the chord word...also...you will hear each guitar ,..its natural voice very clear in this. Guy listed it the other night , used it for youtube demo 1 time & left it to first real money bid.. got it good price..

Congratulations on the new amp - looks beautiful.

Supro are really interesting; I've never tried one, but would love to one day.

The fact that it's giving you all those tones is great, and long may it continue.
 
Congrats on your new Supro, looks great. Can never have too many tube amps can we. Are you sure on that power tube type? Being unfamiliar with the 6793 I looked it up. From a Military spec reference & also at tubecollectors.org (where the 6793 was listed under "wierd tube of the month"), the 6793 is shown as a high voltage, high vacuum relay.
A 6973 however, is a (12 watt) 9 pin (Noval) pentode. I'm imagining that's what's in your Supro. Cheers
 
Here is the mojo combo..Goldie has the very PAF type sounding pickups.,,airy ..brite....it does Whole Lotta Love..so easy..

What i like the most..turn the amp on..have a clean boost on low available & ride the knobs..the old school small amp cranked to the max on the verge of an explosion.... just has a tone right at the right volumes...the pick acttack on this thing is crazy good..am hearing harmonics & all kinda things...but very full nores even under gain..kudos to the Blues Classic also..its very similar in it own way..both amps just place the mids in your hands...no anything needed but technique to extract anything ya want..

This is correct. These Supro's are also Class A/cathode biased.

A "cathode biased" 6973 duet, yes, but as to the "class A" operation, the claimed output power of 25 watts from two 12 watt maximum plate dissipation tubes would indicate otherwise (class AB operation).
Class A operation means that plate current in each output tube flows for the full 360 degrees of the sine wave. The tube can never reach cut-off. It is a very inefficient way to operate output devices. It is rarely used as it is wasting more than half of the tubes output power potential. From a duet of 6973's operating in class A push-pull you could reasonably expect less than half of 25 watts output power.
It's not uncommon to see modern amp manufactures claim "class A push-pull" operation while giving output power figures indicative of class AB operation. Cheers
