Do buy two of the same cables(length, brand, model etc). Don’t buy outrageously unnecessarily long ones. Thanks for the cable info guys. I was unaware there was a difference! I'll be going to GC this weekend to get the necessary bits.

oh yeah, if you plan on getting the switch...maybe pick up a couple of matched, short run, TRS to run from your interface to the switch. Then as you add things, you can source appropriate adapter cables.
I do run unbalanced cables from the switch to my Cambridge Soundworks Model 12, and it works fine...as it expects to see unbalanced line signal.

Have you tried them out yet?View attachment 39328
What is the world coming to? It's Sunday morning and look what I found on my front step.

Hell yes! Even with just guitar cables and not messing with any of the adjustments yet they are fantastic! I can hear the bass much better than with headphones. Sounds very realistic.
Proper cabling will help to keep any possible RF noise from invading...also will help to avoid any unwanted ground looping (at least it will make for one less place to have to look if something should arise)I'm getting zero background noise will TRS cables do much for me? I'm getting them anyway since I need shorter cables, but thought I would ask.
Now you need to “learn” your setup. My advice would be to continue listening to material through them. The depth and presence are uncanny. You can really zone in on individual parts. I'm just listening to YouTube videos now. Wonder why regular speakers don't do this.
Congratulations! Those are some real lookers! Sweet!!!View attachment 39330

I was thinking about strapping them on the boys.Oh yeah, if you have a pair of old mouse pads laying around, you may want to try putting them under each monitor to decouple them from the surfaces they are resonating through.
That’s a thought! A new style of auto-panning effect! Genius!I was thinking about strapping them on the boys.
Have you had a chance to compare a song from CD, to the same song on YouTube yet?View attachment 39340
I have lots of CDs. Figured this was a good place to start. The E8s are handling Michael's bass effortlessly. What a great way to dissect a song. You can effortlessly hear every part.
