Favourite OD to goose your favourite amp?

This is very interesting. Cool knobs, too. What's a Bogner burnley?

I had bought my BE and the Burnley at the same time.

That Burnley is one of the best od's I've ever played.

I wanted a tight high gain, so I kept the Friedman, but the Burnley has a Rupert Neve design or manufacturing connection. Definitely did a cranked old school od- dist to my ears?

Beautiful box of sounds.

Except the O.C.D., that never leaves, what it does to my Marshall JTM 45 is something special. At least to me it's magic.

Reinhold Bogner collaborated with Rupert Neve ( Yes .. THAT Rupert Neve ) to design the series … Neve built a custom Transformer to use in the Burnley, Sussex, Harlow, Lyndhurst, and Oxford Pedals …… They also made some of them with a custom Bubinga Wood faceplate …… Incredible Overdrive !!

It really is a superior sounding o.d./ distortion.
Only reason I didn't keep it was that I have a couple of pedals that already cover that ground.

Would not hesitate a minute if I ever need another pedal like that, it's just quality all the way around.

I liked the JHS less than the other three, but maybe he didn't dial them in as well? Maybe the Friedman was the stand out?

In this demo, I like the Suhr Riot and the Fulltone OCD. The OCD's High Peak setting was never used.
