Knobs?

I don't think I've ever really thought that much about knobs on a guitar. Not sure I really have a favorite or beyond I like the way the larger witch-hat knobs look on vintage gear.
 
I don't really look at the numbers, I adjust by ear. So I go for durable and good looking. My favourite is the VK-18 Gotoh Tele style dome knobs.
 
I scored another set of 4 Gibson Supreme Grip knobs online this morning. They are getting more scarce and more expensive ($35 a set for these) but they are the best I have found.

Such a great feel, wish they still made them. I just put a set of them on my SG Standard and they are great. Trying to find some more but because they were only made for 1 year they are hard to find and expensive ($35 for the set I bought). There are some non-Gibson ones out there but they have vintage-style centers so they sit really high off the top of the guitar, which I don't like.

Hey gball - I was digging thru my knob drawers and found two of this type. They look like they have some years on them. Do you have a use for them? If so, PM me and I'll see if I can mail them to you.

Since we're still talking about knobs I say to you Mojotone Marshall style set screw knobs with the brass inserts are the only way to go. The nasty plastic ones don't fit right and are typically out of round.

we need to talk--- I didnt get my fame and fortune after the meeting at the crossroads and the soul/bargain ting --- I was about to do a google review scathingly of course--- however if you could hurry up and FIX the issues that would be awesome as I am sure I have some NO BREAKING THE CLAUSE contract-- and Im going to be seeing you for a LOOOOONG time anyway ----
