Mitch's Garage Rough Draft Take 1

Been working on this today. I think I have the rhythm guitar part worked out the way I want it. Did rhythm on the Flying V. Bass is close. I was using both Jazz and Precision pickups full bore. Drum track is just something I threw together on EZ Drummer. I threw in a little lead with the Blueberry Les Paul to see what I thought. Still thinking about vocals at this point. All guitar parts recorded through 2203 clone with gain at 3 o'clock and all tone controls at 12 o'clock. I was using a wee bit of reverb from my H.O.F. , but no other effects. Guitars double mic'd on Greenbacks as usual.

I am flattered, and what a cool tune that is , a cross between a Molly Hatchet / Eagles / Skynyrd/ Aerosmith, very cool piece Chris,
Thanks for posting your work.

Thank you all. I still think I suck, but appreciate the confidence building. I came up with the rhythm riff last night. I recorded rhythm guitar early this afternoon and then added the drum track. Since I'm not good at manipulating the software I then rerecorded the guitar track while listening to the drums in the headphones to get the tempo right. Next I practice along with the bass for about 3 passes until I know where I want it to go and then record. Same thing with the lead guitar part. I don't really like much of the lead, but I wanted to hear how it would sit in the mix. So, that is how my process generally works. Now I will listen to it repeatedly to see if any lyrics come to me.
