Mcb,,,,,,,,,,Funny you mention jet skiing. I was watching some killer surfing clips and could not help remember my 20's when I did the closest thing I will ever do to surfing and had a blast. I learned how to ride one of those Stand up Jet Ski's. Not the sit down kind but the kind one has to really go for it just to stand up on it properly, and then the fun of blasting it as fast as one could go and jumping over wakes and all manner of fun stuff that came as I mastered it.

gball, I still get tripped out every time I view this thread and think about how you rode your bike at Patapsco Avalon and it is freaking right at the bottom of our hill like 1/2 mile away. SO crazy

Somehow as I was cruising the various options we can watch shows on from Netflix to Prime, to Crackle to Hulu,,,,,,, I gave Tubi a try. Somehow it had a considerable selection of skating and surfing type things I could watch.

SO, tonight I started out by watching Right To Exist- Santa Cruz Skateboards. Some sick skating in this one.

I like that cane, when my knee turned into a cantaloupe, that would have been better than crutches !!!

Okay, something seriously funky going on with that headstock. Here's an image of a 20th Anniversary (1974) Les Paul Custom in the same rosewood...

and here's a closeup of the headstock of a white mahogany-bodied one:

And it's clear that they both have the normal headstock shape and 5-ply binding that a Custom from the era would have. Caballero's guitar has the wrong headstock shape, no binding, and kind of funky-looking inlays. Everything else looks right about the guitar including the 12th-fret inlay (except the knobs have been replaced with speed knobs). I can't figure it out and wonder if the guitar had a new headstock grafted onto it or something.
