Winds Topping 94mph in SoCal This Morning:

Fairly commonplace here, but stronger today than usual. The weather station at the State University (about 1/ mile away reported several 94mph gusts this morning)

I was up texting @eSGEe when a gust took out a section of our fence at 4:45am today. In the background, looking North, is the mountain i ride up an over on my motorcycle to access the high desert...

We lost some trees in our neighborhood recently. The winds were around 60 in SE PA.

Cali = Fires...Earthquakes...High Tornado force winds...Gridlock highways....Mudslides....


SGE and the rest of us will settle for hurricanes....And least we can hop on SGE’s giraffe swim to a boat and leave........

Local news is talking about the winds all over town, but here in the South Bay it's dead calm. I was on the beach this morning and even the surf is mild for this time of year.

We are in the time of year here that we are due for winds 50 to 100 mph. You walk out in the driveway and gravel come off the ground and you get sandblasted by the freshly worked fields.

We get that kinda wind in Northern Illinois, the word tornado is usually in the same sentence.
