Do You Have a “Comfort Guitar”?

The title says it, but it could be any musical instrument.

But, regardless of any of your other guitars or other instruments you may have, do you have that “one” (or two) that you always seem to grab when you just need to unwind?

What‘s your comfort guitar, or other instrument?

It's my SG Standard. That's the one I always seem to grab when I have just a few noodle-moments. It's light and nimble and also sounds great (and loud) unplugged.
Uncasing a Les Paul always feels like serious business, so I don't tend to grab them unless I am going to have a longer session.

I have one Ibby that I just wear out....Out of all the toys in the music studio, the Ibby is my comfort..
Nothing fancy, but its my goto..
And plugged into the Plexi its just heaven to my hillbilly seff

That‘s the other element I forgot to mention...the guitar that you’ll play whether or not you plug in.

I've only had it for a few days, but I do think I could see my Les Paul Special becoming a go-to like that too. It's light, very resonant and loud unplugged, and compact. Once I've had it for a while I'll see if I end up pulling it out as much as the SG.

thats a tough call, even unplugged. It's betweer the SG and the Epi 335. Really a tough call.
