This Releases the Day After my Birthday...

Wow..i had a tiny FM radio ,in late 70..maybe 71...i was picking up a far away college radio or sumthin & i hear NIB ..was floored...at that point had Elvis, monkees, Edgar winter records & heard led Zep..i got a craving for hard music at 7 years old that didnt end until about 2000 when i gave up on the over gained processed stuff..maybe it died to me when Dime got killed...anyways...Oz..that voice...always pulls off something...how cool it was when Blizzard of Oz came out of nowhere..saw Sabbath philly 79..a new band...VH..stole the show..Oz forgot the words & held the mic..didnt move..but i still loved it..Black Sabbath forever in my mind

Its hard for me to amagine a world with no Ozzy Osbourn in it. Ive been listening to him for like 46 years or somethin. First time i heard Black Sabbaths , Black Sabbath i was like floored . I was hooked. The song Ordinary Man has Ozzy reaching John Lennon status and that is the highest honor. Didnt Lennon do a song Ordinary Guy ?. Love the new Straight to Hell song. \m/

I have been listening to Ozzy and Sabbath since 1972! They were the fisrt really heavy band I ever heard. When I heard them the first time it was like a whole new world opened up!
I was never the same again...I was hooked for life, not only to Sabbath and Ozzy, but to heavy metal in general. From there I back tracked and learned of the origins of rock and blues...

I owe Sabbath a huge debt! And that was 48 years ago and they STILL deliver!
