Gahr's fault.
That lovely Fender Twin that Gahr sold off... I thought it might come back to him as gear tends to do (or, can do from time to time, especially in smaller communities). I hope it comes back to Gahr because it's part of his musical being.
So, responding to his thread, I mentioned that he might wanna let the buyer know that he'll buy the amp back if it's ever up for sale. I reflected and sent an email to the guy I sold my junior to. &, the bastard had it up for sale! He's on holiday now, but in a few weeks time that junior is coming home. &, I'm really looking forward to it.
It'll be a lot of fun for me to compare it directly with the SG Special. &, then I need to look for a '67 style standard to complete the trio. I'm thinking that even a 2019 standard would do the job (with a few small changes) or I could look for a cheap "player" level original.
