I play a lot of bass and 8's or 7's I cant even FEEL the high and can barely SEE it

I can certainly HEAR a difference for sure --

save $ dont buy new pups or a new gutiar-- get differnet strings and maybe a differen PICK and your changing your tone baby

I watched this earlier. I've been thinking of switching back to 9's lately as I have been having a touch of hand pain at times and this has probably sealed the deal. When the current stock of 10's dries up the next case of strings is going to be 9's.

Since accepting the dreaded 25.5" scale into my life I've been using .009 - .046 on those.
It helps. They're mostly the ones with the Floyds.
However the .010 - .036 "Hendrix" gauge sets feel great to me as well, but haven't tried em with a Floyd..
The 24.75" scale still get .010 - .048
Seems to balance the feel to me.
But It's all so subjective. What I like you may not like.
