Because despite phenomenal technique, Paul's tone is not all that earth shattering.

Different strokes, you know. DA is a prodigious talent but his sound is always "fizzy" to me. We all definitely hear things differently at time, but that's what keeps it interesting.

I'm in no way going to knock this because it is simply awesome, but I'm personally not a big fan of the guitar tone. It's a bit too scooped for my taste an quite 'processed' sounding.
